Massive congratulations to everyone! Server second kill, downed in the first week of content. Plus, one seriously epic push by Team 2 to put the final nail in Deathwing's coffin, the likes of which we haven't done as a guild since early Wrath. By some measurements, we are now server first in raw progression, thanks to the epic fast clearing by Team 1 earlier in the week. Finally, a massive shoutout to all our Disciples who've aided the raid effort with plenty of flask and feast mats. Take a look at the gbank - we rammed it down Dragon Soul's throat.

Another great raid weekend. Beth was one of the most satisfyingly smooth first-time progression kills I've ever seen. Props to everyone involved, extremely well done!

Progression up to 5/7, woot! (October 8th, 2011)

A great raid week for Avatar again, moving us to 5/7 heroic, and holding firm in the top 10 raid guilds. We'll need to push hardd next week to go 6/7 by downing Heroic Beth if we hope to keep that spot however. Prep hard raiders!

Avatar progressing through Heroic Firelands (September 30th, 2011)

We're chipping steadily away at heroic firelands. Nerfs aside, its challenging, entertaining content that seems to drop USABLE loot. Hurrah! Marked progress by both teams on various heroics this week, and a solid Alysrazor kill to push the guild to 4/7. Well done everyone!

Raid Team 2 Update (September 23rd, 2011)

Team 2 - epic progress this weekend. 3/7 hardmodes, Shannox, Rhyolith and Domo. Some of the finest play I've seen from the team to date, congratulations to all for making great things happen. Karma, wherever you are, you were sorely missed and we hope you're feeling better. Come back to us soon you crazy goat!

It almost didn't feel like we took this guy seriously. Not sure he really derserves to be taken seriously any more... solid and quick kill regardless.

Nasty encounter. Everyone pulled their weight and then some getting this guy down, amazing teamwork.

From beginning to end you could tell we had this. Beautiful example of progression done right, awesome. Plus, epic heals!

I think the mount dropped as compensation for the bug that caused the boss to stay in heroic mode for our first pull. Clearly something wrong there >.>... *cough*

Prep hard for further heroic content next week. Anticipate Baleroc > Alys > Beth > Rag as a progression agenda, but come ready for anything. Obviously, we will continue to push already downed heroics - these are still fresh fights for the team, so I recommend all T2 raiders continue to watch vids and keep yourself up-to-date. Finally, please keep an eye on the Battle Tactic forum for more strategy posts, as well as updates to existing strategies.
